And so it begins. WHO goes into meltdown.

This has the smell of rancid bait attached to it. . .

Calm down. This could be one of those convenient "injuries" that clear up when the PL starts again. The kind of injury that Man Utd and Liverpool players have had for years.

Absolutely! It works better where we actually have adequate cover both in the first team and in prospects to actually not be fucked if one single player gets injured. Definitely on the areas you mention. It's unforgivable no strikers or central players have come into the club. The way it's turned out we might as well have kept Ajeti just as cover.

Where are people reading he’s injured? I’m not seeing that news anywhere.

Play a couple of times for your country at a tenner and a slice of orange, or play regularly for your club for 20 grand a pop.

Hmmmm. Difficult call.

He isn't injured, he just doesn't want to play.

No idea where morning middle is or where it came from..

Re: SO our injury list begins
Even if Diop is available do you change the back 3 the way they are playing.. Reintroducing Diop would probable move Ogbonna to LCB with Diop in the morning middle, but Oggy has been great so.. I'd say bring in Longelo instead..

Re: SO our injury list begins
scorch, yes & no. I don't believe we have anyone at the club at the moment who can properly cover rice or soucek, and we still need cover up front. of course it's good to see kids like ashby, alese and longelo coming through and that's why I wasn't bothered about a CB coming in, but injuries to those two areas I mentioned and we're fucked

My thoughts as well. Probably to just avoid going on international duty.

Isn't that what a lot of people on here have been wanting for years as well? It IS a good thing provided the kids are good enough. (i.e. Johnson and Ngakia both did very solid jobs when called on last season and this- and of course the departed Grady)

However, I realise the context under which it's been said on this occasion and while it's good to give some of them a game it's no excuse for the owners raping/mismanaging the squad.

Re: SO our injury list begins
Hopefully it’s just being sensible by making up an injury to save him a trip to Africa where he would get coronavirus, BAD AIDS & malaria

Everyone does it.
Sterling has a pretend injury doesn’t he?

Diop in at CB and Cresswell to LWB.

Get Manning in and no issues.

A returned-to-form Balbuena is like a new signing.

A recovered Diop is like a new signing.

Re: SO our injury list begins
If it's an injury he can recover from by next week, this is GOOD news.

Stops him from getting properly injured.

Re: SO our injury list begins
But we aren’t are we, we aren’t gonna sign anyone so it then becomes a problem.

Re: SO our injury list begins
That's why we want to buy a CB. Try to keep up.
